Pizza is easily one of the most popular foods in the world. There's no particular answer to the 'why' part. But can you eat pizza every week from a popular joint? No matter how much we try to agree, we know it will not be an economical or healthy option. We thought it to be one of the easiest and preferable recipes you can try at home.
It is easier than you think! You can customize the toppings and embark on a rewarding cooking adventure. Yes, even if you have never tried cooking before. The ingredients are not expensive and are available easily in your nearby markets. This pizza recipe does not require an oven. You can cook it in a pan!

Ingredients (Pizza for 2)
Flour
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
Toppings: veggies/meat according to your preference
Black Pepper
Green Chili Sauce or Red Chili Sauce (as per your choice)
Red Chili Flake
Oregano
2 Cheese cubes
Please Note: We are making yeast-free pizza dough.
What is the recipe for pizza dough?
Take a bowl. Pour 150 gm of flour (approximately 1 cup). Add half a teaspoon of salt and baking soda each to your pizza dough. Now, slowly pour a half cup of lukewarm water over the bowl. Start kneading the dough in the same bowl by adding 3-4 pinches of flour.
Knead the dough for 5 minutes till the dough becomes soft. Don't knead for more than 7 minutes. After that, cover the bowl with a kitchen towel or a plate. Let the pizza dough rest for 20 minutes. Now, we will simultaneously prepare our toppings.
Topping Preparation
Chop veggies like capsicum or red onion into julienne strips (vertical cutting). Light up the oven and place a non-stick pan. Heat the pan for a minute and add one tablespoon of olive oil. Add the chopped veggies to the pan and sauté for 2-3 minutes. Sprinkle one pinch of salt and black pepper over the veggies. Sauté for two minutes and turn off the oven.

Now it's time to roll the pizza!
Take out the dough after 20 minutes and partition it into two halves with your hand. Roll out the first half with the help of a rolling pin on a lightly floured surface for the first pizza. The thickness can be as per your preference.
Bake the Pizza
Place this pizza dough in a preheated pan. Heat the pizza base for both sides, one minute for each side. After 3 minutes, place this dough on a separate plate. Spread 2 tablespoons of your preferred sauce on one side. Add the toppings you prepared earlier. Sprinkle a pinch of salt evenly. Shred a cheese cube over the pizza.
Add a pinch of black pepper, red chili flakes, and oregano after you have added the cheese. Heat the pan again for 2 minutes on low flame. Pour a maximum of 2 tablespoons of olive oil and spread it evenly on the pan. Let the greased pan heat for 2 more minutes. Place your ready pizza base on the pan now and cover tightly with a lid. Bake the pizza for up to 5 minutes. The flame should be low to medium now.
Pro Tip: Keep checking the covered pan to prevent over-baking.
